Program Coordinator (Part-Time)
Every year, thousands of usable computers end up in landfills while families, students, and nonprofits across Greater Cincinnati go without the technology they need to work, learn, and connect. Cincinnati Computer Reuse exists to close that gap — and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of the solution.
If you’re organized, hands-on, and energized by the idea of helping people while keeping electronics out of the waste stream, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
As Program Coordinator, you’ll be a key part of our small but mighty team, helping keep our warehouse running smoothly and our mission moving forward. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting volunteers in the warehouse and sales areas during open hours
- Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including donation receiving, sorting, and organization
- Opening and closing the facility and helping manage Picker’s Corner and retail sales
- Partnering with board members on special projects and operational initiatives
- Representing CCR at community outreach events, donation pickups, and partner meetings as opportunities arise
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable, detail-oriented person who enjoys juggling multiple priorities
- Comfortable supervising volunteers and pitching in wherever needed
- Some experience in warehouse, retail, or operations is a plus
- Computer literate; high school diploma or equivalent required, college a plus
- Able to lift computer equipment and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment (40-50 pounds on a semi-regular basis)
- Passionate about sustainability, community, and closing the digital divide
Schedule & Compensation
- $25/hour, 15–20 hours/week.
- Onsite: Wednesdays 2:00–8:30 PM, Saturdays 8:30 AM–1:30 PM, plus occasional outreach or pickups outside of business hours
- Employee discount on refurbished equipment
- Closed during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s weeks, and on Labor Day, Memorial Day, and 4th of July weekends
- Background check required
Why CCR?
This is more than a job — it’s a chance to give technology, and opportunity, a second life. You’ll work alongside a dedicated board and volunteer community that genuinely cares about making a difference in Cincinnati, one computer at a time.
